Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized State or Central Board in India. Photograph: JPG/JPEG format, sized between 30KB and 100KB, with recommended dimensions of 320×400 pixels. It should be a recent, clear photo taken against a plain white or light background, with the face occupying 70–80% of the frame. Selfies or scanned photographs will not be accepted.
Signature: JPG/JPEG format, sized between 20KB and 100KB, with recommended dimensions of 300×120 pixels. The signature should be made in black or blue ink on plain white paper, then scanned — it must occupy 70–80% of the image area, without any digital text, shadows, or borders.
How to Apply
- Visit the official GDS portal at indiapost.gov.in/gdsonlineengagement.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) between 31 August and 19 September 2026, using an active mobile number and email ID (both verified via OTP).
- Log in using the Registration Number and password received via SMS.
- Click “Apply Online” under GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026.
- Fill in personal and educational details exactly as they appear on your Class 10th certificate, then select your preferred Division and post (BPM/ABPM/Dak Sevak).
- Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the applicable fee online, if required (waived for female, SC/ST, and PwBD candidates).
- Submit the form between 02 and 21 September 2026, and download a printout of the confirmation page for your records.
Applicants should apply only through the official portal — no documents other than the photograph and signature need to be uploaded. The correction window is open from 23–24 September 2026.
Points to Remember
- Mobile number and email ID cannot be changed once registered.
- Only one registration is permitted per mobile number/email ID — duplicate registrations through altered details will lead to disqualification.
